With the raising inflation — things are getting expensive day by day. People are losing jobs, they have debt, EMI, room rent and other expenses to pay.

Recently Byzu’s fired around 2500 employee and other companies are doing the same, even companies like google and Microsoft have slowed down hiring.

Basically people lives have became worse. There are more unemployment and more bills to pay.

But what government is doing to control the inflation, raising goods prices ?

Nothing !,

In fact they are adding tax to every thing they can find. Recently they added taxes to these items -

  • Hospital facility
  • Hotel rooms - 12 % GST
  • Cheque books
  • Prepacked items

https://www.news18.com/news/business/tax/gst-rate-hike-on-daily-essential-items-from-july-18-what-will-get-costlier-5545747.html

There are many others, which is going to affect our lives and whatever was worse, going to be worsen.

We are already paying taxes directly on our earned income upto 30% and now we will be paying taxes on each items starting from rice, milk, books to hospital and hotels.

Summarising the whole tax (direct and indirect) it will be around 50%, so we are paying 50% tax averagely or more if you are buying more items.

Does government care about us ?

Well seems like they don’t care about our lives.

They have upcoming election to win, so they are always focusing on that.

Literally government has started a war on common people by increasing tax.

They are not providing any facility, quality of life has became worsen 😫, and we have more and more debts to pay . Not a single step is being taken to solve the raising inflation, to reduce the price but all they care about is getting tax.

Everyone knows the price of crude oil is cheaper because of Russian oil imports but the actual retail price of the oil is expensive because government has added 70% average tax.

So if you are buying petrol 100rs per litre, you are giving 70 rs to government 😢.

What to do?

It is very concerning matter and everyone should think about it. Let’s strategies and talk to different local leaders, opposition leaders which can put pressure on current government.

Remember how the agriculture bill was taken. This was our’s win, our efforts.

And make sure you vote to right party next time 🙏. And most importantly we should focus on choosing right people near us like mukhiya, Parshad, MLA etc. Because you can ask these people for help not chief minister or prime minister or other big political people.
